TERMS & CONDITIONS

Definitions

  • ‘We’ refers to Sibbecks Farm Glamping

  • ‘You’ refers the guest named on the booking form

  • ‘Booking group’ refers to all persons staying, or visiting, on a booking

  • ‘Our site’ refers to Sibbecks Farm

Terms & Conditions Acceptance

  • The person named on the booking is responsible for ensuring that all members of their booking group are aware and comply with the Terms & Conditions described in this document

  • Your booking is deemed acceptance of these Terms & Conditions

 

Prices, Payment & Booking

  • You will be required to pay a deposit at the time of the booking, and the final payment will be due 30 days before your stay

  • If you do not make the final payment 30 days before your stay then we reserve the right to cancel your booking

  • Deposits will only be taken when a booking is made more than 30 days before your stay. When bookings are made within 30 days of your stay, you will be required to pay the full balance

  • No entry to our site will be allowed without full payment being received prior to your stay

Cancellation

  • Except for the conditions described in section 4.5, cancellation by you at any time will result in your deposit being forfeited, as all deposits are non-refundable

  • Except for the conditions described in section 4.5, all monies paid for a booking (deposit and balance) are non-refundable within 10 weeks before check in date. Cancellation of any booking after it has been paid in full and at a date 10 weeks or more in advance of your check in date, will result in forfeiture of your deposit and the balance being returned to you

  • We strongly recommend you take out holiday cancellation insurance

  • We reserve the right to cancel your booking in advance due to circumstances beyond our control. For example, fire, flood, exceptional weather, epidemics, destruction/ damage to the property (force majeure). In this event, you will be refunded the full amount of the booking

  • During the COVID-19 pandemic if UK Government restrictions prevent you travelling to our site, of if you or a member of the booking group is self isolating, we can cancel your stay and you will receive a full refund. You may also use your existing payments to postpone your stay to a later date

 

Responsibility & Liability

  • To the greatest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for accident, loss of property or personal injury to you or your booking group whilst staying at our site

  • You will take sole responsibility for the safety & wellbeing of yourself & your booking group whilst you stay with us. This responsibility extends to all areas of our site and our adjoining land

  • You will acknowledge that there are certain hazards that come with being in a natural environment (for e.g. poisonous plants, deep water in the stream) and in an agricultural environment (for e.g. moving tractors) and you will take sole responsibility to ensure the safety of your booking group considering these risks

  • If you notice any hazards whilst you stay with us, you will report them to us as soon as possible

  • We strongly recommend that you take out holiday insurance to cover you against accidents

  

Arrival & Departure

  • Check in is from 4pm and ideally before 8pm. You will advise us of your anticipated arrival time so that we can ensure that someone is there to greet you and show you to your tent

  • Check out is no later than 10am. We reserve the right to charge for late check outs

  • On check out, you will leave the tent and our site in a clean and tidy state. All rubbish and recycling should be put into the bins provided

  

Behaviour

  • You will behave in a proper, appropriate and legal manner whilst staying with us

  • You will respect the peaceful environment, our neighbours, & other guests by not making excessive noise

  • You will not smoke inside the tent and if smoking outside the tent will dispose of finished cigarettes in a bin once cool

  • You will only use the fire pit in the location set up in order to protect our grounds & tents

  • You will be conscious of the potential fire risk posed by a meadow in the summer months and you will take the necessary precautions to minimise that risk. You will not set off fireworks, lanterns, or similar

  • You will supervise your children at all times and ensure they are behaving in an appropriate manner and that they are safe

  • You will not cause damage to our tents, barns or the surrounding environment (e.g. damage to trees, or plants)

  • You will be liable to pay for any damage to the tent, its contents, or our site

  

Dogs & Pets

  • No dogs or pets are allowed onsite unless with prior agreement

 

Number of Guests

  • There will be a maximum of 7 people staying in each tent

  • Meadow Escape – sleeps 4 people by default. When pre-agreed and paid for, an additional 2 people can sleep in the day bed, and 1 camp bed can be set up in the bunk room

  • Stream Escape – sleeps 5 people by default. When pre-agreed and paid for, an additional 2 people can sleep in the day bed

Breach of Terms & Conditions

  • If you or any member of the booking group breach the Terms & Conditions described in this document then we reserve the right to ask the offending person to leave the site

 

Complaints

  • If you have any complaints about your stay, you will bring this to our attention immediately and give us the opportunity to resolve the matter
