We moved to the Isle of Wight a couple of years ago from Surrey. We dreamed of a different pace of life and better access to the countryside and beaches for our children.
We have certainly achieved that! We have 7 acres of our very own beautiful land which we have worked really hard to clear and develop into usable farming space as well as protecting areas for their beauty and natural habitat. There is not much we enjoy more than heading down for a family BBQ by our stream on a sunny day. We love our community in Niton and enjoy so much about our local area from country walks, to the beach to regular visits to Blackgang Chine!
We want to be able to share this enjoyment with other people and so have set up our glamping business. Our aim is to offer guests access to everything we love about living this close to nature but with all the luxuries of staying in a house. We are family run and low key and aim to be a friendly place to stay where people can choose to get involved in our small holding or keep to the privacy of their tent and its surrounds. We have purposefully designed the layout of our site so that glampers have a part of our precious space all to themselves.
THE FARM AND SERVICES
Sibbecks Farm is an old tenant farm, with a farmhouse dating back to the 1600s. Now a smallholding of 7 acres, we retain a listed barn and a more modern commercial barn, formally used for a dairy herd. The commercial barn now houses our rainy day play area and our bunnies, Guinea pigs and chickens and the listed barn is great for events. Our land is a mixture of farmland, meadow and woodland with a stream running all the way through.
We aim to take all effort away from the start of your break, providing stocked fridges, meat and veg delivery boxes and your first fire ready built. We then provide an honesty veg patch and grocery stock, opportunities to get involved with our farm animals and all the advice and equipment you need to make the most of our nature to ensure you have a fun packed break. We are happy to provide a concierge service recommending and booking dining out and activities such as horse riding, bike hire and surfing.

“Love Sibbecks, really beautiful and quiet, loads to keep the kids occupied and the tent is awesome! Huge and really well kitted out.”
